A strong foundation for everything that comes next. We design secure, resilient Azure platforms that give your software room to grow and your organisation the confidence to move forward.
Microsoft Azure consultancy built around your business
Moving to the cloud is an architectural decision as much as an infrastructure change. Your platform needs to support the applications you run, the information you protect and the people responsible for keeping everything available. SOA Technologies brings independent Azure architecture and hands-on implementation together, helping you make those decisions with a clear view of the trade-offs.
We can help establish a new Azure environment, develop a cloud-native application or improve an existing estate that has become difficult to manage. The starting point is your workload and business priorities: who uses the service, what happens when it fails, how it integrates with other systems and how it will be operated after release.
A closer look at the decisions and capabilities behind azure & cloud.
Azure architecture and landing zones
A useful cloud foundation makes ownership and control explicit. We consider subscription and resource organisation, network boundaries, identity, role-based access and secrets management together. Landing zone design is shaped around your organisation rather than copied from an oversized reference architecture. Infrastructure as Code helps make the agreed configuration repeatable, reviewable and easier to maintain as new workloads are introduced.
Cloud-native applications and connected services
Azure Functions, managed APIs and messaging can support flexible applications without making every component responsible for everything else. We assess where serverless processing, API Management and Service Bus fit your requirements, including retries, message handling and hybrid connectivity. The goal is a coherent platform with clear responsibilities between services and a practical approach to diagnosing failures.
Operational readiness from the outset
Resilience starts with understanding acceptable downtime, recovery needs and dependencies. We bring monitoring, deployment configuration and operational ownership into the design discussion early. Azure Monitor and Application Insights can provide evidence about application behaviour, while documented support procedures help your engineers understand what requires attention. Capacity and cost considerations inform service choices rather than being deferred until production.

THE BUSINESS VALUE
What this can make possible.
↗
Scale with a platform designed around your workload
↗
Establish clear security and operational boundaries
↗
Make infrastructure easier to understand and evolve
HOW WE WORK WITH YOU
From cloud assessment to an operable platform
An engagement can begin with an architecture review or a focused design exercise, followed by implementation where needed. We agree the scope, dependencies and acceptance criteria before making changes. Delivery can include the cloud foundation, application services, deployment automation and knowledge transfer to the people who will own the environment.
Outputs we can agree together
Every engagement has its own scope. Depending on the work, deliverables can include:
A documented architecture and prioritised technical decisions
Version-controlled infrastructure definitions and environment guidance
Monitoring, deployment and operational handover appropriate to the agreed scope
Scope, responsibilities and acceptance criteria are agreed before delivery begins.
WHERE WE CAN HELP

Have a question about your particular system? Email SOA directly and start with a brief outline.
Can you review an Azure environment that is already in use?+
Yes. We can assess an existing environment's architecture, access controls, deployment practices and operational visibility. A review identifies the areas that deserve attention and provides a practical sequence of improvements. Implementation can then be scoped around your team's priorities and the risks of changing live services.
Do we need to move every system to Azure?+
No. A hybrid architecture may be appropriate when existing systems, dependencies or operational constraints need to remain in place. We assess which workloads benefit from moving, what must stay connected and how to manage the boundary. A migration should follow a business and technical rationale.
Can you work alongside our developers or infrastructure team?+
Yes. SOA can contribute architectural direction, focused cloud engineering or an agreed package of implementation work alongside your existing capability. Responsibilities, review points and handover are agreed at the start so that your team retains a clear understanding of the resulting platform.
